Allison’s Allies

Since 2007, Allison’s HOPE has maintained a steady fund-raising effort and supported cancer research efforts at the Mary Crowley Medical Research Center. The Crowley Center works to expand treatment options for cancer patients through the exploration of investigational molecular and cellular therapies. The Hope Chapel at the Anderson Hospital Cancer Center in Maryville, Illinois, was also a gift from the Cassens family.

To date, more than one million dollars has been raised through foundation activities.

To date Edwardsville Neighbors in Need has helped more the 50 families in the Edwardsville Glen Carbon area by easing the burdens associated with a cancer diagnosis. ENIN fundraising efforts have become a staple in the community. Their positive affect in this community have been in inspiration to Allison’s HOPE.

Through our efforts, we aspire to ease the financial burdens of local families with various needs, while inspiring generosity and goodwill among the residents of our community. In doing so, we ultimately hope to extend the positive impacts of our work throughout neighboring communities as well.

Hospice of Southern Illinois provides specialized care services for patients and families who are faced with a terminal illness. Our focus is on patient care including symptom management, emotional support, spiritual support, and psychosocial intervention.

The Hospice of Southern Illinois team provides care to patients in their own home or in a home–like setting regardless of the patient’s age or ability to pay.
